- The proposed performance hall facility is a 1,300 seat, multi-purpose hall that will serve a wide range of activities including orchestral performances, chorale music, dancing, musicals, plays and notable speakers. It will be equipped with industry standard theatrical equipment to support productions by local arts organizations and touring groups.
- The stage will include a counterweight rigging system and eighty-five foot tall fly tower for raising scenery and backdrops out-of-sight (to facilitate changing of scenery quickly) between acts and accommodates the variety of scenery elements used by different productions.
- Also included will be a professional quality theatrical lighting system and a sound system to support amplified productions, speakers and sound effects as well as natural acoustic music performances.
- The planned configuration for the main performance hall is a traditional European style hall, relatively narrow in proportion to its length, and with a balcony and seating in boxes on the sidewalls, which provides an excellent acoustic environment.

- The design characteristics of the performance hall will create an excellent acoustic environment for symphony and chorale. The ability to make adjustments to the amount of sound absorption in the hall will make it adaptable for events with differing requirements.
- The facility will be equipped with dressing rooms and other backstage spaces necessary for the support of the full range of performances that will occur within the facility. Actors’ equity standards will be met
- For the pleasure, comfort and safety of the audience, the facilities will include a main lobby that is appropriate in size, with the amenities to support large gatherings such as receptions, exhibits, fundraisers, and main hall audiences, including opening night festivities.

 |
- The flat-floor smaller multi-purpose theater will provide space for meetings, exhibits, speakers, rehearsals, and a variety of revenue- generating uses, in addition to performances. To contain initial costs, enhancements will be phased in. (special lighting, sound systems, etc).
- A catering room will be available for functions in the lobby or studio theater.
- The women’s room will be twice the capacity of the men’s room.
- Plans include a patio to be used by patrons during intermissions or special events and by downtown pedestrians as a place to relax in pleasant surroundings.
